Davis Creek Reservoir is part of a comprehensive Missouri River basin-wide water development plan. It covers more than 1,100 acres and has an earth dam that is 2,900 feet long with a maximum height of 144 feet.
The reservoir provides recreation, fish and wildlife benefits for all to enjoy. Includes RV and tent camping areas, two boat ramps, nature trails and an aluminum fishing pier.
Because its primary use is irrigation storage, lake levels vary with the time of year. The lake is at its recreational best from Memorial Day to Independence Day. Then water levels usually begin to drop as irrigation use increases. |
